HBADOC - Scholarship Information

The HBA is proud to support the continued education of outstanding students in our area. On April 16, 2013, thanks to the hard work of our Scholarship Committee and the generosity of everyone who donated or purchased items at our auction last fall, our HBA awarded $1,000 scholarships to 14 promising students who are seeking to further their education in a wide variety of academic fields.

NCHBA Scholarship Opportunity (Current College Students)

The North Carolina Home Builders Educational & Charitable Foundation, Inc. (NCHBECF) awards scholarships based on a combination of need and merit to four year college students entering their junior or senior year and technical school students entering their second year who have declared their major in a construction related field.  

In addition to the NCHBECF Scholarship Program, if you are a female pursuing a degree in a construction related field, you may also apply for the North Carolina Professional Women in Building Scholarship. To be eligible a student must meet the same requirements as outlined in the NCHBECF Scholarship guidelines. One $500 scholarship will be presented each year.
